Spearman Estate

First of all, let me thank you on behalf of the entire Spearman family. As you know, we

are spread across the country from coast to coast. When my parents were living, it was

always such fun to converge on Lawrence from every corner of the nation. But when they

both had passed, we had real anxiety about how about we could responsibly settle their

estate, especially their property. The housing downturn was making itself felt even at that

time and only served to heighten our anxiety.

After speaking with you, we held a family meeting and made a decision that from the

beginning proved to be one of our best during this trying time. Though you were a new

agent at the time, your enthusiasm, willingness to be creative and customer service

orientation won us over. Your customer service outlook was critical. We needed someone

on whom we could rely to faithfully respect our wishes though we were 1100 miles away.

Yet at the same time we needed someone who was sufficiently independent and

knowledgeable of the dynamic Lawrence market to communicate, guide and educate us

so that we could make rapid but informed decisions from afar. You did both, from the

pre-sale and property management phase through marketing, negotiations and finally the

sale of three separate properties. Not only did you maintain your marketing creativity and

energy, you executed without excuses and without fail.

Perhaps we would have sold the properties with another agent but there is no doubt that

you provided us “peace of mind” at every step of the process, no matter the distance. I

hope it is obvious that we are very pleased with the professional service you provided to
